Fiction

I have recently begun writing fiction for many of the same reasons I started writing non-fiction. People often say you should write what you read, and I read mostly fiction. I love getting sucked into a good book. I find myself laughing and crying over fictitious people, anxious over the next plot twist, but also pondering those stories and learning from them. I have always been a storyteller, so writing fiction allows me to create characters and stories with very real struggles. Some lessons in life are best learned when we can distance ourselves a little bit from them. Fiction writing has allowed me to give life to stories that I hope will be inspiring and entertaining.
